Calcium Propionate

Purpose: 

1. Food preservative: Calcium propionate is a commonly used food preservative, widely used in food and beverage manufacturing. It can inhibit the growth and reproduction of microorganisms and extend the shelf life of food. Calcium propionate is often used in breads, pastries, dairy products, meat products and other foods to prevent the growth of mold, yeast and bacteria.

2. Feed additives: Calcium propionate can also be used as a feed additive for animal feed to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in feed and maintain the freshness and nutritional value of feed.
